What is Wet Process?

The wet process is the main treatment for any type of garment washing. The wet process can be done by using different types of chemicals. The wet process section maintains a process flow chart, which facilitates the whole garments washing processes and make it easy to achieve the desired garments shade.

Procedure
01
De-size
It is the first process of the wet process section in garments washing. Here, the de-sizing process is done by using a de-size chemical to remove the size material from the garments.

Enzyme
To match with the desired shade, here enzyme process is done by using Acid or Neutral enzyme. Enzyme processes can be a medium enzyme, light enzyme, heavy enzyme, or stone enzyme.

Cleaning
After completing the enzyme process, garments are cleaned here by rinsing 2-3times.

Bleaching
Here, color can be removed uniformly from the garments, and removal of color is done according to the buyer approved shade. Bleaching can be done by using K.C.I bleach or Japanese Bleach.

Neutralize
Bleaching chemical must be neutralized here by using Sodium meta-bi-sulfite or sodium hypo.

Extracting
After completing all the above processes, garments are unloaded from the machine and extracted by using a hydro extractor machine.

Drying
Garments are dried here by using a gas dryer or steam dryer. Types of dryer selection depend on the desired shade. Here, it should be noted that the gas dryer is perfect for reddish shade and the steam drys is for bluish shade. After drying, all the garments should be sent to the dry process section for P.P spray.

P.P Neutralize
Here, P.P sprayed garments are neutralized by using sodium metabisulfite.

Tinting
Tinting is normally used for increasing the attractiveness of garments. Sometimes tinting is needed for matching with the desired shade.

Softening
This process is done for increasing the softness effect of garments. Softening can be done by using a cationic or nonionic softener.

Extracting
Finally, garments are unloaded from the machine and extracted by using the hydro extractor.

Drying
Here, clothing is dried by using a gas or steam dryer.
