Key Factors that Decrease Garments Production

Key Factors that Decrease Garments Production

Garments Production:

Due to fast garments productivity criteria, a garments export order can be shipped in a timely. Sometimes, it’s too tough to shipping orders in their actual time due to the lower productivity of garments. There are some key factors, which influence a reduction in garments production. Delay shipment is the result of that.

Factors that reduce Garments Production:

The main key factors that decrease garments production are discussed in the following:

1. Pattern problem:

Sometimes it’s seen that some parts of the patterns are missing. Because the marker did not include the actual number of garments parts. It’s probably due to the mixing with different sizes. This creates problems in the next processes and finally decreasing the garments production.

2. Fabric spreading problem:

Incorrect tension of plies (Fabric spreading too tight or too loose) is the main cause that occurred during fabric spreading. This will result in garments part not fitting during sewing and finished garments cannot meet the proper size tolerance. Ultimately decreasing the garments production.

3. Fabric cutting problem:

In cutting time, sometimes the cutting operator failed to follow the marker lines, resulting in deformed garments parts. Their top and bottom plies can be different sizes if the straight knife is allowed to lean or if the round knife is used at too high speed. These types of factors influence to decrease garments production.

4. Sewing problem:

During sewing, the below problems can inspire to decrease garments production-

  1. Machine break down,
  2. Machine stoppage,
  3. Imbalance line,
  4. Lack of lay-out planning,
  5. Level of individual operator performance,
  6. Operator absence,
  7. Quality falls during online Q.C check.

All the above points are discussed below:

a. Machine breaks down:
The machine breaks down, needle break down is a common scenario during garments manufacturing. It will not hamper the single process only; also create a lot of problems for the next sewing processes. As a result whole production will be reduced.

b. Machine stoppage:
If the machine does not run continuously, is the most important factor for decreasing garments production. So, the operator assistant should continuously feed to the line for achieving higher garments production.

c. Imbalance line:
For getting maximum production from a production line, all the lines should be balanced. If it’s not followed during garments sewing, ultimately all the sewing processes will be hampered which resulting in the decreasing of garments production.

d. Lack of lay-out planning:
Proper layout planning is one of the most important factors for achieving a higher amount of garments production. If can’t, ultimately decreasing the garment productions.

e. Level of individual operator performance:
In the factory, it’s seen that some operators are too efficient in completing his/their duty, where others are not like them. In a garment production line, if it’s happened un-naturally, then it will create more problems during completing a garment sewing. As a result, garment productions will be decreased.

f. Operator absence:
Operator absence is a burning problem for the garments manufacturing factory. It creates a lot of problems that can not solve in a sudden moment. Due to the absence of any operator, the whole sewing department has to face extra pressure, which influences other operators to create an unwanted mistake in sewing. As a result, decrease the garment productions.

g. Quality falls during online Q.C check:
It is another one that can easily decrease clothing production by creating excessive problems in garment sewing. Garments will back every time if it’s not approved by the quality department and should take necessary steps to solve that in the garments sewing section.
